Most people don't think about promoting their online websites offline. And thats where you can cash in. There might be stiff competition for your hot market in google and elsewhere online. But offline, you'll find fewer competitors.
You can easily generate double the response by promoting offline too. And classified advertising is the cheapest way to start promoting offline.
How to Write Classified Ads
There is no hard and fast rule of writing classified ads in a certain way. I've seen classified ads that have directly sold reports with 15 words. Buy I don't use classified ads to sell directly. Instead, all my marketing activities don't sell anything directly at all.
Their only job is to bring people to the autoresponse newsletter form and get them to optin. Do the selling after you collect people's information so that you can follow up with them.
The only job my classified ads have is to create curiosity that makes people log on to the website and subscibe for the autoresponse newsletter. Here is the template classified ad I've used to build curiosity with good results:
