One free and easy way of promoting your website is taking part in online forums and message boards. Just go to your favourite search engine and search for:
- <Your hot market keyword> + message board
- <Your hot market keyword> + forum
For eg: If you've created a report on "Diabetes Recipes," then you can search for "diabetes forum" and you'll find diabetesforums.com. On that site, you'll find a section for discussion on dieting. You can take part in those discussions and promote your diabetes recipe site with your signature at the end of your posts.
This is an easy way of promoting websites because 100s of people visit such forums and discuss about their problems. By giving helpful answers, you'll position yourself as an expert on these forums and drive people to your website at the same time.
Forum Marketing on Steroids
You can start posting on 4-5 such good forums and generate decent amount of traffic to your websites. But if you stop taking part in the discussions on these forums, people will stop coming to your website through the forum. What to do?
Simple: create a special report that is available no where else. Add your website link to the special report. And then contact the forum owner or moderator and ask him if he would like to give that report away to all the forum members and participants.
